Jennifer Blondeau, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in many different settings, including residential programs, in-home counseling, and community-based counseling centers. I work with clients addressing various concerns, including depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, trauma, and abuse. I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents that have experienced physical or sexual trauma. I have a passion for helping children heal. I also enjoy working with adults struggling with addiction.

I am very person-centered in my approach, offering empathy and unconditional positive regard to help facilitate change and growth. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, among others. I love joining my clients to help them gain the tools and knowledge needed to make positive life changes!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2004 and then from Auburn University with a Master’s of Education degree in Community Agency Counseling in 2006. I have received advanced training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
